Using evidence-based prescribing guidance to deliver best practice prescribing recommendations

Developing Health Care Technologies To The Highest Standard

The company was founded in 2020 by Gerard Moran, a spin-out company from the Research and Development department of one of Ireland’s leading universities – University College Cork and Cork University Hospital.

Our current technology focuses on preventing inappropriate medication use in older patients, which cause Adverse Drug Events (ADEs) and hospital admissions. Our company technologies are developed to Class 1 Medical Device (harmonized in the US).

CSIS Health works directly with the academic institutions, expert clinicians and professional bodies to develop software tools with high impact and focus on quality improvement. This ensures that our products provide intuitive and intelligent recommendations to clinicians and healthcare organizations.

American Geriatrics Society

CSIS Health has an exclusive commercial partnership with the American Geriatric Society (AGS) to deliver the first electronic version of the AGS Beers Criteria®. The partnership is focused on providing clinicians and health care organizations with a medication review solution that instantly efficiently reviews patient records for prescribing appropriateness.
